Early Career Researchers’ meeting 19 November 2025

Join us at this in-person event, which will run from 12.15-5pm on Wednesday 19 November 2025 at the Building Centre in central London.

It’s a great opportunity to hear from your fellow researchers and network with your peers. The day will feature ‘5-Minute Fellowships’—talks from fellow researchers on their latest ageing-related work—alongside poster presentations showcasing projects funded by the Vivensa Foundation, and a panel discussion centred around putting principles into practice. The panellists include:

• Bibhusha Karki (University of Manchester) to discuss engagement with underserved communities and issues related to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI);
• Genna Abdullah (University of Liverpool) to discuss patient, carer and public involvement and engagement;
• Claire Hill (Queen’s University Belfast) to discuss environmental sustainability in research;
• Helen Nuttall (Lancaster University) to discuss research culture and communication.

We are also offering attendees the opportunity to nominate themselves for a poster presentation or a speaking slot in the ‘5-minute fellowships’ section of the agenda.
