Professor Vicki Goodwin MBE, physiotherapist, Professor of Ageing and Rehabilitation and NIHR Senior Investigator at the University of Exeter, received our 2025 Senior Leader Academy Excellence Award. She is using her award funding in part to set up an Ageing Research Café.
Vicki asks: “Do you have an idea (even a half-formed idea) about research on ageing? Would an opportunity to have an informal chat with a public partner who can bring lived experience and fresh perspectives help?” If the answer is yes, she is facilitating free online sessions.
These 45-minute slots give you the opportunity to share your research pitch with no slides and no pressure. The idea is to have a supportive conversation that could help shape your idea into something stronger and more relevant.
