Reserve your space for the first three events in the Lunchtime Learning series

Members of the Vivensa Academy can now register to attend our new Lunchtime Learning series. These short, online monthly meets will be a chance to listen to fellow Academy members talk on a topic that will be of practical use to all. We’re keeping the sessions informal, so bring your lunch and some questions for the Q&A.

Here are the first three events, which will take us up to the end of the year:

22 October, 12-12.30pm: The Polypharmacy Programme: Getting the balance right

Join Amy Semple and Clare Howard from Health Innovation West of England to discuss the issues of problematic polypharmacy.

Reserve your space here.

12 November, 12-12.30pm: Promoting patient and public involvement and engagement (PPIE) in lab research

Join Dan Hayman from the University of Sheffield to talk about the importance of PPIE in lab-based research.

1 December, 12-12.30pm: Navigating a career in ageing research, from early career researcher to tenure

Join Keir Yong, neuropsychologist and Vivensa Foundation Senior Research Fellow at the Dementia Research Centre, University College London. He will share tips and advice that he has found useful as he navigated his career from ECR to principal investigator. Reserve your space here.
