We are delighted to announce that our 2026 Annual Symposium is now open for registration. The event will take place on 23 April 2026 at the IET, 2 Savoy Place London – conveniently located within walking distance of Waterloo and Charing Cross stations. The UKARFF ECR event, jointly hosted by the Vivensa Foundation, Health Foundation, BBSRC and MRC was held in-person at the Health Foundation offices in London on 7th February 2025. The event was attended by 60 ECRs, with talks and posters from ECRs, a question and answer session with the Chief Medical Officer for England, Professor Sir Chris Whitty, and a talk from Professor Catherine Green, with a focus on research translation and public engagement.
On 29th April 2025 we hosted our Annual Symposium at the Wellcome Collection in London. We opened with lunch and an opportunity to peruse posters. And there was “merch” available in goody bags to celebrate the launch of our new name. If the buzz of conversation was any indicator, some great new connections were being made.
