Professor Vicki Goodwin MBE, physiotherapist, Professor of Ageing and Rehabilitation and NIHR Senior Investigator at the University of Exeter, received our 2025 Senior Leader Academy Excellence Award. She is using her award funding in part to set up Ageing Research Cafés.
Vicki asks: “Do you have an idea (even a half-formed idea) about research on ageing? Would an opportunity to have an informal chat with a public partner who can bring lived experience and fresh perspectives help?” If the answer is yes, she is facilitating free online sessions.
