The NIHR HTA (Health Technology Assessment) Programme is seeking research proposals focused on Using light therapy in care/nursing homes. Projects should generate robust evidence that can directly inform clinical practice and health policy.
Research question:
Can the use of light therapy boxes in residential care and/or nursing homes improve the mood, sleep and mental health of residents?
This is a 2-stage, commissioned funding opportunity; that is eligible for a SWAT/SWAR (study within a trial or study within a review), which can help significantly improve methodology of future research as well as the host study.
