This scheme is designed to develop independent careers in dementia research, through supporting early career postdoctoral researchers working on adult social care aspects of dementia.
Applicants must be:
- Researchers within 3 years post-PhD
- Must be working in areas relevant to adult social care, dementia, or carer support.
Applicants will be able to establish collaborations across NIHR Schools, undertake independent research, publish findings, develop new methodological skills
Research areas include:
- Improving social care for people living with dementia.
- Supporting unpaid carers.
- Innovations in community-based care.
- Workforce development in dementia social care.
- Reducing inequalities in access to dementia support.
