NIHR i4i THRIVE Programme: Supporting Innovation to Tackle Health Inequalities – new funding opportunity

The NIHR Invention for Innovation (i4i) programme has launched a new call for applications to THRIVE (Translate Healthcare Research through InnoVation and Entrepreneurship)—a funding and training initiative designed to support researcher- and clinician-led innovations that address health inequalities, particularly in underserved communities.

THRIVE is aimed at academic and clinical innovators with healthcare technologies at Technology Readiness Level 3 or above. The programme offers support to explore market potential, build a commercialisation strategy, and strengthen entrepreneurial skills through structured training, mentoring, and peer networking. Applications are especially encouraged from under-represented innovators and those working in or with underserved communities and geographies.
