Health Equals is a campaigning coalition to reduce health inequalities founded and supported by the Health Foundation.
They have launched its Shelf Life campaign to highlight the impact of health inequalities on life expectancy across the UK. The campaign shows how where we live can influence how long we live, with an estimated gap of up to 18 years between some communities.
The campaign highlights how factors such as housing, income, employment and the local environment can shape opportunities for ageing well across the life course.
