NIHR Newcastle Biomedical Research Centre will be running a third “Introduction to Clinical Research with Older People” two-day in person course in Newcastle on 26-27 November 2026, led by AGE Research Group members.
If you work in healthcare with older people and are thinking about embarking on research, now or in the future, this course provides the ideal starting point.
The course is aimed at all healthcare professional with an interest in research with older people. The course comprises a mix of talks and interactive group exercises, delivered by a multidisciplinary team of leading ageing researchers in the NIHR Newcastle Biomedical Research Centre.
The course cost is £100, which includes lunch on both days. The venue is The Common Room, a Grade II listed heritage venue next to Newcastle central rail station.
