BSRA Public Lecture 2026

The British Society for Research on Ageing (BSRA) will host its 2026 public lecture on Wednesday 9 September, 5pm to 8pm, at Keble College, University of Oxford.

The lecture will be delivered by Professor Valter Longo (University of Southern California), a leading researcher in ageing, nutrition and longevity.

Professor Longo’s lecture, “Fasting Mimicking Diet Cycles, Cellular Reprogramming and Healthy Longevity”, forms part of BSRA’s 75th Annual Scientific Meeting. It will be followed by a Chair’s Reception, giving attendees the opportunity to meet Professor Longo and connect with researchers working in the field of ageing.

Tickets cost £18 plus booking fees and include admission to both the lecture and reception. Places are limited and must be booked in advance. Find out more about the public lecture here or book your place via Eventbrite.

Please note that late-breaking poster abstracts for the Scientific Meeting close on 23 August, find out more here.
