The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the European Commission have launched the OECD-EU Research and Development Careers Survey 2026, an international survey for research and development professionals.
The survey forms part of the Research and Innovation Careers Observatory (ReICO), a joint OECD-EU initiative bringing together internationally comparable data, statistics and policy-relevant evidence on research and innovation careers across more than 50 countries.
Researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs, science and technology managers and those working in technical, scientific, administrative, institutional or management support roles are invited to take part. Responses will help policymakers, employers and the wider research community better understand how R&D work is evolving, including working conditions, career development and mobility.
