The British Geriatrics Society (BGS) have announced their 2026 POPS (Perioperative Care of Older People Undergoing Surgery) Meeting, taking place on 25 September 2026 at Horizon Leeds.
This year’s programme will cover key themes including frailty, acute care, rehabilitation, and multidisciplinary perioperative pathways.
The BGS are inviting abstracts submissions showcasing research, service innovation, quality improvement, and clinical practice related to perioperative care for older people.
Deadline for abstracts: 10th July 2026
