Alzheimer’s Society is partnering with the NHS Innovation Accelerator (NIA) to support the next generation of innovators developing solutions that could transform the lives of people affected by dementia and improve the systems that support them.
The NIA is a flagship NHS England programme that helps exceptional health innovators scale proven innovations across the NHS. Fellows receive tailored support, mentoring, networking opportunities and access to expert guidance to help overcome barriers to adoption and spread.
As part of this year’s recruitment call, they are particularly keen to hear from innovators working in dementia and ageing, including innovations that support
- Earlier diagnosis
- Access to treatment
- Better care and support
- Prevention and brain health
- System-wide improvements in dementia care
Deadline for applications for the NIA Fellowship Programme is 27 September 2026 (23:59).
