The British Geriatrics Society (BGS) will hold an online webinar that will provide an overview of the NIHR HTA (Health Technology Assessment) Programme.
Members will be introduced to the PICO (population; intervention; comparator; outcome) framework as a structured approach for developing research questions and informing evidence-based practice to improve the care of older people.
There will be the opportunity during the webinar to identify clinical problems pertaining to the care of older people from the workplace and use the PICO framework to begin to develop these into research questions that might fit within the remit of a future HTA commissioned call.
