The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) will be holding a webinar, UK research participation across the ages – data from the NIHR Year of Birth Project, on Wednesday 17th June 2026, 4:00pm – 5:00pm.
The webinar will present initial findings from the Year of Birth Project, describing ages of research participants in UK portfolio studies. With input from the NIHR Research Delivery Network’s Ageing leads, the discussion will have a focus on the inclusion of older adults in research.
The Vivensa Foundation will also be presenting findings from their report Ageing-related research in the UK: a landscape analysis.
As the Year of Birth data has implications for all portfolio studies, the webinar is of relevance to everyone in the research community, not just those with an older adult interest.
