Healthy Aging Catalyst Accelerator Showcase

Join Zinc for the third Healthy Aging Catalyst Accelerator Showcase, a dynamic afternoon spotlighting promising innovations for longer, healthier lives including bold, evidence-led solutions spanning MedTech, digital tools, inclusive design, social connection, and health equity

Over the past few months, the latest cohort of 9 UKRI Healthy Aging Catalyst Award-holders has each been working to accelerate their enterprises and spinout of their respective research institutions (see more below). This event is your opportunity to:

🔹 Meet the innovators and hear live pitches from the teams
🔹 Try out product demos and learn about how you could get involved
🔹 Network with researchers, founders, funders, and sector leaders
🔹 Enjoy lunch and informal conversations with others passionate about later-life innovation

Whether you’re a policymaker, investor, academic, entrepreneur, or working in health and care—this showcase is your chance to get inspired and be part of shaping what comes next.

This year’s cohort is developing bold, evidence-led solutions spanning hardware and digital tools, that are inclusively designed and helping older adults to stay or become healthy, mobile and social connected. You’ll meet:

  • FLAG-Me Vision – Tackling medication errors for people with sight impairments through a highly visible, on-screen logo alerting professionals to offer accessible formats.
  • Helpful Locals – An online platform that connects people with trusted community organisations delivering health and social care support in their neighbourhoods.
  • Kaleidoscope – Using consumer psychology to help SME food manufacturers design healthier products that support a sustainable food system and healthy ageing.
  • LymphMotion – A “fashion-meets-medical” wearable device empowering lymphoedema patients to self-manage their condition sustainably, anywhere and anytime.
