The Essential Guide to Grant Applications (EGGA) masterclass is for anyone thinking of applying for a research grant – either from the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) or from other open, competitive, peer reviewed sources of funding. This masterclass focuses on how to write a grant application that will appeal to reviewers.
If you have an idea for a health or social care research proposal and would like to turn your idea into a funding application, EGGA will introduce you to the skills you need to get started.
EGGA is a free to attend, three-day masterclass on how to write a grant application that is strong from a methodological point of view, reads well and presents a convincing case for funding. EGGA is funded and hosted by the NIHR Research Support Service Hub delivered by the University of Southampton & Partners.
